Safety Orientation
Employees may be exposed to many safety and health hazards while on the job. These include chemical hazards, fire hazards, electrical hazards, confined space hazards, etc. This course aims to present an overview of some basic workplace hazards and how employees can protect themselves from them.
Learning Outcomes
* Identify and take basic preventive measures against chemical hazards
* Use proper respiratory and personal protective equipment
* Prevent yourself from falling off elevated work places
* Carry out the procedures involved in locking/tagging out equipment
* Protect yourself from confined space hazards
* Properly protect yourself from fire hazards
* Provide basic first aid
* Protect yourself from bloodborne pathogens
* Protect yourself from heat and cold stress

Testing
Quizzes - All quizzes must be passed with a 70% to proceed forward to the next lesson. Final Exam must be passed with a 70% to pass the course.
